Summer's End is the eighth episode in season two of Heartland. It aired November 30, 2008.
Summary[]
In the middle of heat wave, a cattle truck loaded with thirsty and overheated horses pulls into Heartland . Ty can hardly believe his eyes when the driver turns out to be his dad.
Plot[]
In the middle of a hot season, Ty's father pulls up out of nowhere and saves horses in a cattle truck. Amy is shocked when she finds out that one of the horses is Apollo who belongs to Ashley. Ty's father is up to no good when he asked Ty to live with him. Lou tries to buy the horse from the cattle truck but has to come up with double what they were previously sold for. However Ty's father steals the money and leaves in the middle of the night leaving problems for all. Amy and Ty kiss in the rain. Ty feels conflicted because he really likes Amy but he doesn't want to hurt Amy. Ashley comes to live at Heartland because of problems at home.
